Luke Magnan & Michael Jones

Luke Magnan is from the Hartford area and Michael Jones is from nearby Worcester, MA. Luke and Mike are both 20-year veterans of the insurance industry, with time spent on the agency, carrier, and software vendor sides. That experience drove the duo to start Combined Ratio because they saw a lot of insurance companies struggling to realize the promised business value from their technology investments and they were certain they could help.

About Combined Ratio Solutions

Making Your Insurance Technology Better

Combined Ratio Solutions is a different type of partner for P&C insurance technology organizations. Their team of architects, analysts, developers, and configurers rely on three core strengths: P&C insurance domain expertise, technical expertise, and a track record delivering business value. Their engagements center around solving business problems and delivering business value via existing technology investments. Recently, Combined Ratio Solutions just hired their 40th employee while remaining completely bootstrapped. In that short time, among other successes, they’ve helped a billion-dollar insurance carrier completely turn their IT organization’s reputation around, creating a solid track record of exceeding business stakeholders’ expectations.

Luke Magnan
“Our long-term vision is to completely change how technology can be leveraged by insurance companies to improve their combined ratio.”
